Smash Zone

Smash Zone in Wauwatosa runs by appointment only, with no walk-ins. A visit starts with putting on a helmet, gloves and protective jacket, picking a weapon from bats, crowbars and sledgehammers, and collecting boxes of items to break. Music plays through a Google Home speaker. The whole session lasts up to 40 minutes or until the group finishes. Afterwards guests can write a message on a wall of the Break Room. Groups of up to four can share one package price in the larger rooms.

Opened by owner Glenda in memory of her daughter, who died in 2010, and describes itself as Milwaukee's first rage room. It also offers a mobile smash room, corporate events, a splatter room and a subscription plan.

Items on offer include computer monitors, small electronics, printers, TVs, furniture, plate stacks, dishes, vases and picture frames.

Smash Zone also offers splatter room, photo smashing (+$60), monthly subscription $150 for four visits and aim and throw activity.
