Akron Break Room

Guests book a timed Break Room session and get a set of breakable items (40 per person), such as dishes, glassware, computer monitors, keyboards and VHS tapes. Coveralls, a full face shield and gloves are supplied and must be worn. Groups smash in a private room while the rest of the party can watch through viewing windows in the lobby. Music can be chosen from iPads mounted outside each room using Spotify. A combined Smash & Splash booking adds a session in the glow-in-the-dark Paint Room afterwards.

Groups, parties and events

• Small party room: Seats up to 20 guests with room for an 8 ft table for food and gifts. No tablecloths supplied.
• Large party room: Seats up to 55 at six 8 ft tables, with space for more tables. Tablecloths supplied for food and gift tables only. Extra time costs $35 per hour if available. Outside food and non-alcoholic drinks allowed. Birthday guest of honor can pick a free T-shirt or an extra canvas for guests to sign.
• Corporate, birthday and bachelor groups: Groups can combine Break Room and Paint Room. Bookable up to 55 people online

Items on offer include glasses, dishes, plates, bowls, cups, computer monitors, computer keyboards and VHS tapes.

Protective gear supplied by the venue: coveralls (S to 7XL), full face shield, gloves, lab coats (Paint Room), safety glasses (Paint Room), hair bonnets (Paint Room) and foot booties (Paint Room).

Before you go

What to wear: closed-toe shoes and clothes that can get messy for the Paint Room.

Rules

• Protective gear must be worn during the session
• Closed-toe shoes required
• No alcohol in party rooms
• No glitter or confetti in party rooms
• Only blue painter's tape on walls, never on mural walls

Music: Guests can load a Spotify playlist on iPads mounted outside each room, or staff help pick music.

Booking and cancellation

• Deposits and refunds: Payment is taken at time of booking.
• Late arrival: More than 10 minutes late and the session is cancelled with no refund.
