The Damage Zone

Sessions are by appointment in pre-arranged themed rooms: a household room, an office room, a children's room and a car-smashing option from April to October. A 30 minute session covers up to four people per room and includes a basket of breakables, a standard mace-bell weapon, safety gear, a calming lounge, light refreshments and guided breathing. Rooms are preset to a theme, though specific items aren't guaranteed. A shootout target experience is also offered.

A Detroit rage room founded by Zienethe Holifield, a former mental health and child welfare worker, built around the idea of being a 'Responsible Psycho'. It describes itself as licensed and insured and as the first rage room with a dedicated children's room. It runs membership tiers and a holiday donation drive.

What you can smash

Items on offer include glass and dishware, small appliances, electronics, household decor, large appliances, office electronics, furniture, toys and used vehicles (seasonal).

Tools provided: mace bell standard weapon; upgraded weapon $15 for one or $25 for two.

Protective gear supplied by the venue: standard safety equipment.

Other activities

The Damage Zone also offers car smashing, shootout, calming lounge, guided breathing and meditation, memberships: Bronze $480, Silver $600, Platinum $800 per year, gift cards and Holiday Hope donation: bring 5 non-perishables for a free weapon and basket.
