iSmash Glendale

Guests check in, get a short safety briefing, pick a tool such as a bat, crowbar, pipe, mallet or sledgehammer, and go into a private smash room where breakables are set out. Packages are sold per person and range from about 20 to 50 minutes, with different counts of glass items, electronics and car windshields. Protective gear is supplied, and each room has Bluetooth speakers for the guest's own playlist. The same location also offers splatter paint and axe throwing, and walk-ins are accepted though booking is recommended.

Items on offer include glassware, dishes, printers, electronics, car windshields and powder bomb (Omega).

Tools provided: bat, crowbar, pipe, mallet and sledgehammer.

Before you go

Smash sessions for ages 8 and up with a parent or guardian signature on the waiver; guests under 18 need a parent or guardian to sign.

Health and safety

Waiver: Waiver required for all participants, online waiver available before arrival.

What to wear: closed-toe shoes and long sleeves and pants for smash sessions (jumpsuits provided at all locations, some charge a small fee).

Your own items: Bring Your Own Box option at many locations. Not permitted: pressurized containers, hazardous materials, items with batteries or refrigerants, certain screens or monitors. All items need staff approval.

• Arrive a few minutes early; late arrivals may get a shorter session if back-to-back bookings
• Last entry 1 hour before close
