Rage Room

Rage Rooms of Maryland runs sessions in a room where each guest gets a crate of glass items plus electronics or other items, and smashes them while wearing a face shield and gloves. Sessions are 20 minutes in the basic room (1 to 4 people) or 40 minutes in the larger Super room (5 to 10 people). Guests must arrive dressed in full-coverage clothing or pay for a disposable jumpsuit. Public sessions run Friday to Sunday, with weekday private parties arranged by phone.

Operates two Maryland locations, Rage Arena in Glen Burnie and Wreck Creation in Bel Air, and also offers axe throwing, paint splatter, sip and spin art and corporate team building.

Groups, parties and events

What you can smash

Items on offer include glass bottles, plates, bowls, mugs, wine glasses, small electronics (phones, cameras, keyboards, speakers), medium electronics (coffee makers, typewriters, game consoles, fans, laptops) and large electronics (printers, microwaves, TVs, computers).

Protective gear supplied by the venue: face shield, gloves and disposable jumpsuit available for a fee.

Other activities

Rage Room also offers axe throwing, paint splatter, sip and spin art, corporate team building and ladies smash night promo.

Before you go

Under 18 must have a parent signature on the waiver and be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Health and safety

• Expectant mothers not permitted
• Persons with a major injury not permitted
• No drugs or alcohol influence

Waiver: All participants sign the waiver before participating.

What to wear: sweatshirt or hoodie, full-length jeans or sweatpants with no holes, no leggings and closed-toe sneakers or boots.
